THINGS have been going on and I have been extremely busy with the energy:
First let, me be sure to notify any & everyone that has a heart for the Robotech animation, who might be an avid collector of the animation series, toys, models or a war gamer of miniatures, that there is a MAJOR Kickstarter project successfully funded already (literally funded within its first 3 hours at $70,000 USD and crently at $681,609.00 USD), and continuing to smash through stretch goals being instituted by Palladiumbooks and Ninja Division as we speak:
This game continues to grow and astonish me with the iconic upgrades and the g quality of detail and ease of gameplay. Feel free to swing by the kickstarter as the deals are awesome and if you are a gamer, you would be crazy to miss out on the deals. I can easily say, don't be that guy that decides to purchase the game se and have missed out on arming up your battalion while your buddy has a case of all the cool stuff. IF you want your own Robotech miniatures (so that you can customize and paint them as you see fit for your own personal squadron), then you will need to grab your own. Pledging the Robotech kickstarter will give you a wonderful head start and has major beneficial bargains that the standard box set simply won't have available. As a freelancer at Palladiumbooks, the office is buzzing like crazy with this successful campaign!
Speaking of being at the office, I have been at Palladiumbooks's office for quite some time now, cranking out the last of the RIFTS: Northern Gun book 1 artwork. I have been combing over military utilizations of equipment and features to ensure that the Northern Gun mega robots and vehicles are the best that I can produce with feasible functionality. I have never learned and applied so much in such a short amount of time. This book is really going to introduce to the gamers a new look of what I have learned and implemented for the RIFTS RPG setting. A sneak preview of some of the interior art & my painted cover was created for RPG net drive thru, FREE download.
Oh, BTW, I also cranked out some Artwork for the "RIFTS: Vampires" sourcebook! Whew, sure have been slacking on updates and uploads. Looks like I will be uploading a boatload today!
I am also currently working on digital painted illustrations for a Smart-phone application Mopage game for the Android. It's a slick cool online RPG being produced in Japan. I will divulge more details as I am permitted for this upcoming game.
I have also been working on catching up with outstanding commissions and have begun going through the checklist . Whew, talk about some major work still to be completed for some of these, I am cranking away each weekend, checking off something. So, if your one of the commission supporters that have been patiently waiting, I would like to say thank you for your patience and please be assured I am steadily getting to yours. I will email you to let you know once I have begun working back on your item(s) so that you will know and we can discuss the changes and or adjustments thereafter. As I wrap up the NG art work, more time will be freed for me to bang out the commissions accordingly with the quality that each deserves.
In the mist of all of this, I have managed somehow to find time to work on the Dominant Species page layouts for issue one. Irvin Jackson has written a spectacular script that I am extremely pleased with and have gotten most of the design work out of the way. I must say, this IP has taken a new turn for me and just when I thought I was satisfied with it, new more definitive directions and concepts that help enhance the storyline and characters have risen and pushed my creativity to the next level. I am extremely confident that no Werewolf mythos will ever be this horrific or viral with the new adjustments.
Well, that's all for now, back to the drawing board
