Black Market Robot Raptor by ChuckWalton Black Market Robot Raptor by ChuckWalton
This is one of the Illustrations appearing in the recent "RIFTS: Black Market" published by Palladiumbooks.
[link]

The Raptor robot is manufactured by Bandito Arms and the combat robot is based off of the Velociraptor & Dromaeosaurus. It has built in cannons in the nasal cavity, a large bore shotgun mounted in the throat and deadly vibro scythe talons on its hands and feet and its rows of serrated teeth that it can utilize for combat.

Cheers!

Can I have permission to use this for a project in school? I will claim no credit for it, and it is just to show effects in Photoshop. It will be deleted from my files once I no longer need it.

Just maybe, you might get your wish, though it won't be Beast Wars as you know it. Unless I am offered an opportunity to do authentic Transformers Beast wars, in which I would gladly show out as a long time fan. I have such ideas for Predacons and Transformers story arcs that could fuel the saga for decades.

I may have a few ideas for upcoming intellectual properties that just might fill that niche.

Love the attention to detail. I'm not sure where you draw your inspiration from, but I can see a few types of styles used. Not that that's a bad thing, as you have used them in places that fit them best.

Very cool.

<_< I AM going to be that guy and say I think it was meant to be Deinonychus (the "velociraptors" from Jurassic Park) and not Velociraptor as they tend to be smaller (chicken sized) and thinner with more petite proportions. lol but It doesn't matter. Still freakin' cool.

actually i get more of a Utahraptor vibe off of this, and size wise i'd bet it's closer to that species.. if the image of the Grackletooth riding one that was in the sneak peek is any indication.

You are indeed correct. I wish the write-up I was sent had the Utah in it instead of the JP illusioned Veloci. I just added he Dromaeosaurus influence.
