With the increase in behind the scenes activity Dominant Species is moving forward and it is time to reveal more to this survival horror IP.

In the ancient times, man stood apart from the beasts that shared the Earth and chose to turn away from the forest and open the land to a plague of civilization. The Earth was marked for extinction, lands leveled flat over miles. Once a place of simple primal competition, mankind brought new wars to Earth, tipping the scales of natural order, science battling the ways of both beast and nature. Man's drive and ambition cut deep into the heart of the globe, Mother Earth howling her pain at the moon, echoing through space, stars, and infinity.

Touching the ears of something far worse…

A rumbling growl from the darkest corners of beyond, scouts from the black depths of the primal heart, the call of the beast at the core of creation.

Nothing remains from the time of their coming, the Earth a warped reflection of its tropical paradises, the strength of beasts growing over all four corners of the globe. From the stars, under a blood red moon, came the dogs of war, the wolves and their howls piercing the dreams of man and beast, calling out a new age of blood and dominance to the strongest species.

Today the Wolves control most of the Earth, the last human cities stand in feeble refuges scattered across the globe, struggling to survive. Man is nothing more than prey, waiting to be killed. The Wolves make preparations for a coming doom to the feeble species that thrive here, they howl for a cleansing in blood to pave the way for the arrival of their great alpha from the heavens.

Those who stood against the Werewolves, brave fighters trying to reclaim the globe, are few in number and occupied by the daily trials, face the inevitable of bringing Werewolves and humans head to head, for the final battle of man and beasts to becoming the Dominant Species.
This Illustration was penciled by me and the Digital Painting was painted majority by the superb with additional Digital Painting touches and final touches by me. These two painters really outdid themselves and I couldn't be more proud of them!

, is a highly skilled Artist that I am so glad to have on the DS production team and will be doing the interior art pages via digital paining!

:iconukitakumki: is one of those rare gems you wish you had hidden away where you could just go in and peak at to see how well its shining. Kai's input and visual direction helped solidify this illoe and has taught me some invaluable lessons about capturing visual atmosphere. I will continue to seek his guidance.

Writer will be the one in the Scriptors seat and his script for issue one already has me & others jumping off the walls with anticipation!

This DS Production Team will & has exceeded EVERY expectation I have for the story!
