AKA Serpent Bio-Armor

This is the Lemurian Bio-Armor known as the Leviathan Bio-Armor used for the Rifts RPG published by Palladiumbooks. This rare and exclusive suit of Bio-Armor is only available to Serpent Hunters, as it is as much a symbol of their status and office as it is a link to their Thrall Sea Serpents. Lemurians have shown the giant sea serpent Leviathans tremendous respect and have established a daring ritual and courage by daring to even approach them. Moreover, the Lemurian Serpent Hunters show bravery and trust by willingly stepping into the maw of the leviathan beast and letting it close in order to receive their fabled Leviathan Bio-Armor. It is unknown if it is due to the Sea Serpents distant relationship to dragons, but this serpent hunter Bio-armor is formed with a natural resistance to magic.

Amphibious Heavy Combat Armor and is equivalent to that of heavy environmental power armor.

The Leviathan Bio-Armor is capable of running 30 mph (48 km) maximum and can swim/rocket through water at a maximum speed of 30 mph (48 km or 26 knots). This speed is tripled along a ley line. Maximum depth is 6 miles (9.6 km).

Height: 8.5-12 feet (2.6 to 3.6 m), Weight: 700 pounds (315 kg).

Special features:

Light Stone Caster Cannon: Mounted on the Serpent Hunter’s off-hand is a large, high powered version of the Lemurian Stonecaster infantry Weapon. This cannon utilizes the most basic properties of Stone Magic to generate several different types of ammunition. Sedimentary rounds fragment on impact and damage small areas. Igneous rounds stick to the target and burn like lava. Metamorphic ammo is hard, dense and has armor-piercing capabilities. This weapon has a range of 4000 feet (1,219 m) above the surface and half underwater.

Shoulder Searchlight and Laser: Mounted on the left shoulder is a mechanism with dual purposes. It can be sued as a searchlight or as a laser weapon up to 1,200 feet (366 m).

Clawed gauntlets: Each of the leviathan armor’s hands is tipped in sharp claws for close combat.
